Shipping policy

THEODORE VAUSSIER / VAUSSIER
Shipping Policy
Effective Date: 06/01/2025

1. OVERVIEW

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the shipment and delivery of all items (“Goods”) purchased from THEODORE VAUSSIER / VAUSSIER (“Vaussier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, the Client (“you”) agrees to be bound by the provisions contained herein.

Vaussier exercises the highest standards in the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of each order. Due to the rare and exclusive nature of our Goods, our shipping policy reflects the same rigor, precision, and discretion that define our House.

2. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

We ship domestically and internationally to a curated list of approved locations. Vaussier reserves the exclusive right to determine where and to whom it will ship. Orders from or to jurisdictions subject to embargoes, trade restrictions, or elevated fraud risk will be declined at our sole discretion.

Vaussier does not ship to P.O. Boxes, forwarding services, temporary addresses, or unverifiable destinations.

3. SHIPPING CARRIERS & METHODS

All shipments are entrusted to premium carriers (e.g., DHL Express, UPS Premier, FedEx International Priority, or private courier) depending on your region and order value.

Each shipment is traceable and insured for its declared value. We do not offer "standard" or economy shipping. All deliveries are made via signature-required, insured courier service.

4. SHIPPING TIMELINES

Estimated delivery windows will be communicated at the time of purchase. However, all timelines are approximate and non-binding. Vaussier shall not be held liable for any delay, whether caused by customs clearance, carrier issues, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Please allow for the following general production and delivery lead times:

  • Ready-to-Wear: 7–10 business days

  • Made-to-Order / Atelier: 3–6 weeks

  • Special Commission / Archive Access: Variable; disclosed upon consultation

Shipping timelines commence only after full payment has been received and order confirmation issued.

5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs taxes, and local VAT upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the sole responsibility of the Client.

Vaussier bears no responsibility for customs delays or fees and will not reimburse or compensate for any duties incurred. Refusal to pay such charges will not entitle the Client to a refund or return.

6. DELIVERY VERIFICATION & SIGNATURE

All orders require a physical delivery address and adult signature upon receipt. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the package.

If no authorized party is present, the carrier will follow its internal protocol for reattempt or depot retention. If a parcel is returned to Vaussier due to failed delivery attempts, storage fees, return charges, and re-shipment costs will be invoiced to the Client.

7. LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Risk of loss passes to the Client upon documented delivery by the carrier. All shipments are insured until signed for at delivery. In the rare event of a shipping discrepancy:

  • Damage Claims: Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with full photo evidence.

  • Loss or Theft: Will be investigated in coordination with the shipping provider and insurer. Claims may require up to 30 days for resolution.

Vaussier accepts no liability for claims submitted outside this window or due to Client negligence, including accepting delivery at a shared or insecure location.

8. SHIPPING MODIFICATIONS & REDIRECTS

Once an order has been confirmed and is in transit, no changes can be made to the delivery address, recipient, or service level. Clients are advised to double-check all details prior to order placement.

Any unauthorized rerouting or interference with the delivery process will void Vaussier’s liability and may result in the permanent suspension of purchasing privileges.

9. MULTIPLE ITEMS & SPLIT SHIPMENTS

Vaussier reserves the right to fulfill orders in part or in multiple shipments at its discretion, particularly where items are sourced from separate ateliers or require different production times.

10. SHIPPING ASSESSMENT & FRAUD PROTECTION

We reserve the right to delay or cancel a shipment at any time if fraud is suspected or if the identity of the Client cannot be adequately verified. This may include—but is not limited to—requiring additional identification, bank confirmation, or authorization before releasing an order.

11. NO LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY ARRANGEMENTS

Vaussier shall not be responsible for the actions or omissions of any third-party shipping consolidator, concierge, freight forwarder, or international procurement service acting on behalf of a Client. Any complications resulting from such third-party use fall solely on the Client.

12. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By placing an order with Vaussier, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have read and understood this Policy in full

  • You assume full responsibility for importation and legal ownership of the Goods

  • You waive all claims against Vaussier for any delivery-related issue not arising from gross negligence
